Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE) sells its PAPPL to Pfizer Animal Health India Ltd (PAHIL) for Rs 471.60 crore
On Friday, Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE) declared that it has closed the sale of its subsidiary, PAPPL, to Pfizer Animal Health India Ltd (PAHIL), which is owned by US-based Pfizer Inc, for Rs 471.60 crore.
The company stated that all the transactions have completed and the company received the consideration amount of Rs 471.60 crore.
It was stated by the Pfizer Ltd that the development is part of a universal internal re-organization taken up by its parent, Pfizer Inc, in July 2011. Under this program, it was evaluating strategic substitutes for its global animal health business.
PFE’s animal health business basically deals in the large animal health and poultry market segments and also includes rendering of marketing services.
